OUR STORY
Studio Kishangarh is an art and design workshop based in Rajasthan, where we showcase paintings created by artists who have been carrying this art in their families for generations. Kishangarh has become famous for its art, culture, and music, with a special focus on miniature paintings.
Princess Vaishnavi Kumari of Kishangarh, founded Studio Kishangarh in 2010 to continue the 300-year-old legacy of our rich artistic and cultural heritage. We not only want to preserve the local art but also make it known and accessible to people the world over.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
Studio Kishangarh was founded in 2010 by Princess Vaishnavi Kumari of Kishangarh as an effort to inject new patronage into the traditional art form of miniature paintings. With her training in design and knowledge of art history as well as maintaining the Royal families tradition of supporting cultural fields such as art, music, literature etc she endeavours to bring Kishangarh art to a global audience.
